Grayson's Yorkies first started breeding A.K.C. Yorkshire Terriers in 1990 . We only breed A.K.C. Yorkshire Terriers.   We breed all our Yorkshire Terriers to produce great temperaments and outstanding quality. Most of our Yorkshire Terriers come from multiple champion bloodlines.  We are very proud to offer happy and healthy American Kennel Club Yorkshire Terriers true to the standard.

     We are located in Sweetwater Tennessee, in the Sweetwater Valley, approximately 25 minutes south of Knoxville, and about 35 minutes north of Chattanooga on Interstate 75, off exit 62. We are 2 turns and 8 miles off of interstate 75 and very easy to locate.

     Grayson's Yorkies is small and family owned.   We are not a kennel, we are very hands on with all our Yorkies, we can truly say our Yorkie Puppies are hand raised, loved, and very spoiled. We breed for quality not quanitiy. It is not our goal to be the largest breeder, it is our goal to be the best breeder.  We only place our Yorkshire Terrier Puppies with families, we never sell to puppy mills, breeders, brokers or wholesalers period.   We must meet each client in person, if we can't meet with you we won't place one of our puppies with you.  We DO NOT ship our Yorkies.  We ONLY place our Yorkies with limited registration, which means we DO NOT "sell" any of our Yorkies to be bred.  We DO NOT make exceptions to this for anyone, EVER. 

     We are not a USDA Licensed Commercial Breeder, we are not a Tennessee Commercially Licensed Kennel.   We are small and do not sell mass amounts of puppies.  Kennels who are required to have either of these licenses are LARGE operations producing LARGE quantities of puppies, often referred to as "puppy mills".  We are proud NOT to meet the requirements for either licenses.    

  As of 2011 we have Yorkshire Terriers in 22 states: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin!  We hope to add more states in the coming years, only 28 more to go!!!
